The first Taken movie had some plot. This one is a well shot B movie with almost all action scenes. It also makes horrendous logical errors, which is pretty bad in a movie that's based on the idea that its hero knows almost everything, and played things for almost-realism the first time.
The daughter is somehow an expert driver for no reason, the wife is left behind for no reason, the dad has ESP for what's going to be needed from him in the script, the dad leaves behind guns from the bad guys that he could have used later, he never seems to reload his pistol, and for God's sake, HE GETS THE SPEED OF SOUND WRONG. Wrong by about a factor of 3. Not even close.
Do some research, production company. I mean, at least try.
