This film is the kind that takes you in and sweeps you off your feet. I thought that it was a cleverly written and detailed performing/visual arts production.First of all, I immensely enjoyed the accentuated art work, the direction, which was superb and particularly the emphasis of goth-and-gore themes demonstrated in the style that would only be established by Tim Burton, and let's not forget the characters and music--In example, Depp stole the show as"Sweeney Todd", the allusive barber who vows revenge on pretty much anyone of his customers in sight. To conclude, I would say this film totally delivered on every level(especially with the performances)--great job from Burton and Bonham-Carter for delivering another knockout--(excellent times 3 million).
