Not an Oscar worthy movie but enough excitement, human emotions, alien wierdness, special effects and suspense that I think Summer movie fun. I really thought James Spader was perfectly cast as the cool, collected, calm commander, the women were beautiful and intelligent as well as brought feelings to the flick. The ships computer was perfect as the voice and descriptions of what was happening seems to be right on for the future developement of cyber intelligence. Overall a B with some A and C thrown in. Not a bad way to spend an evening with your popcorn and lemonade.
