In some superhero film while they may be stylish and feature cool action some lack emotional depth which is what this 1978 classic did so well as christoper reeve did an awesome job portraying the man of steel in this inspiring tale of a young boy raised by an elderly couple after he was flown off his planet Krypton. Grown up into a young man he discovers who he is why he is here to protect man kind while working under the secret identity of clark kent his alter ego. This is perhaps my all time favourite superhero film.
