This movie got into my head. It was twisted and confusing, but totally sucked me in. I completely suspended my disbelief. I wanted to know what was happening, but couldn’t figure it out. I was being entertained and challenged at the same time. The movie was fun and intriguing and the director/author was challenging me to figure out the TRUTH before the end. I couldn’t. It took me until the “final” scene to get what was really happening and what was made up. It was a real refreshing AHA moment that lasted a quick second and then the reality (well in the movie) hit me like sledgehammer t the sole and my stomach just ached. When the movie ended we all just set there for a minute blankly watching the credits roll by trying to let the movie sink in. It slowly dawned on me the TRUTH I had been challenged to figure out had not been about the movie but about life. I left wrestling with issues of what is real – the concrete or the perception, actuality or belief, reality or imagination. It also made me contemplate the big questions of life and death, what makes life valuable and if that is removed does life still have meaning (if not value)?
I would recommend this movie for everyone and for some people I would require it!
