I got to say before seeing it today in 3D this was one of my least favorite in the series. Having been 11 when the first film came out back in the 70s, I've grown up on Star Wars.
Seeing Episode I in 3D made this film so good. The last part …more»4 of 6 people found this review helpful-

Just got back from seeing Phantom Menace in 3D. I missed all three of the newer movies in their first release, but read many of the unfavorable reviews these movies got at the time. I was very pleased with it and thoroughly entertained. The 3D treatment …more»3 of 3 people found this review helpful-

First off let me say I'm a fan of Star Wars and own several complete versions. I'm not a huge fan of 3D, but it can be fun and has its place. However the scenes that I was looking forward to seeing in 3D (pod races, space battle, droid battle) …more»8 of 9 people found this review helpful-

I am a HUGE Star Wars fan. I love all 6 movies just the way they are. My kids couldn't stop giggling at Jar Jar Binks. He's annoying to adults, I know, but the kids love him. Can't forget the kid factor. Loved the addition of CGI Yoda. …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

The Phantom Menace was probably the poorest reviewed of all Star Wars episodes. This time around, however, the movie seemed a little better, (more exciting and less obnoxious) 13 years later and in 3D. Maybe there might have been some minor editing …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-
