If you really have to go see Star Wars Episode 1, go to see it because it's on the big screen, but DO NOT go to see it for the 3D, because the 3D "stinks big time". I'm glad I'm a senior citizen and didn't have to pay much to …more»4 of 7 people found this review helpful-

Save your money - wait 3 more years for episode 4 and …more»5 of 15 people found this review helpful-

Most of the previous views are negative, either about the lack of 'popping out of the screen' 3D effects or, the disappointment of Episode I as a whole from it's premier in 1999.
I just saw the film and I must say that it is quite an impressive …more»16 of 17 people found this review helpful-

George Lucas, your a phenom. Stay golden George. Stay golden.. …more»1 of 7 people found this review helpful-

And I am sure it blew in "fake 3D." Too bad they don't have the Yahoo movie message boards anymore, then we wouldn't have to write four hundred characters and pretend we are reviewing this horrible prequel to the vastly superior Star …more»1 of 3 people found this review helpful-

About 1/2 way through, I made the conscious decision to nap. Yep, I sat with my 3D glasses and slept. Seemed like just a bunch of shooting scenes. I did appreciate the beginning as it clarified the characters and beginnings of the series.
The 3D …more»0 of 1 people found this review helpful-

I was expecting some things like the pod race to make it feel like it "jumped out at you" but it doesn't have anything that comes out of the screen, the only 3D effects was to show field of depth. This is what most 3D artists are doing. …more»3 of 4 people found this review helpful-
