back to business
after the bad fifth addition in the series we are given a film that once again redeems the series. the director of the 'wrath of khan' the second film in the series makes a triumph with the return to the series.
the klingon species is close to self destruction after a fatal explosion on their home planet. they want a peace treaty and for once the federation might enjoy a truce with the enemy that has fought them for so long. kirk is the representative for the federation and when the klingon ship is attacked kirk is framed. he must battle he's way out of prison and find the people responsible for setting him up.
this film is a great return to form. it is good to see the director returns to save the series when it is in trouble of ending for good. this is worthy and must be watched to appreciate the star trek universe working on all fours.
