Great movie. Wonderful, sensitive, realistic acting brought laughs, sympathy and empathy. Pacino had such a range of personality to portray and did it magnificently. Walken was low-keyed and so effective. As someone else said "Arkin is Arkin" …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-

The script is very weak and predictable. The first half of the movie has Pacino and Walken delivering lines in almost slow motion. A few one liners make you smile but no laughs.

I came into this movie expecting a replay of all of the old guy buddy movies and instead got a sensitive portrayal of old friends near the end.
