Nothing is Certain

Fueled with 1980s energy and a powerful title song, this movie keeps you interested the whole way through. Once I was able to memorize all the different characters, I enjoyed witnessing all their various problems unfold on screen. Some characters semmed troubled from the start, like Billy, while other characters seemed to have their lives together. As the story unfolded, I realized nobody had it any better than anybody else, whether the troubles were financial, substance abuse, personal relationship issues, or mental issues. What really amazed me was how all of them managed to stay friends at the end, no matter what happened throughout the story. As a high school senior, I have not yet faced these problems, but this movie made me think about what I want my life to be like five years from now. This story is believeable, interesting, and entertaining all at the same time. My only complaint is I didn't think the movie was very funny, but it was advertised as a comedy.
