I thoroughly enjoyed Sparkle. The twist in the story line to make women more empowered worked really well. I especially liked seeing issues with the Mother and Daughters relationships resolved. Healing was shown throughout the movie. This made it a feel good movie! Mike Epps (he really play Satin and that Chess Cat smile was flawless), Jordan Sparks (great voice), Carmen Ejogo (outstanding job as Sister. She is beautiful too), Tika Sumpter (beautiful), and Derek Luke all did really well. But the most believeable character was Ms. Whitney Houston! From her emotion and firmness to her being unprideful and loving. She played her role really well and she looked amazing! The soundtrack is a good listen. I can't wait to own this one on DVD!
