So who get's the girl? The story line builds sympathy with two leading men, leaving you wondering who will be chosen and why. Since we all have heard the story why does the Huntsman awaken the princess? We all know it's supposed to be the prince in the fairy tale. Okay so I'm giving away the story line, but be prepared. The ending is anticlimactic and just plain weird.
The slime theme is a good effect but just a tad overdone. The macabre, slow pace leaves you impatient. It fails to create mystery.
The search for the princess leaves you cold. It lacks passion. The queen's brother is certainly evil, but in a flat unbelievable way. He is no Darth Vader and the queen is certainly no bellatrix.
