Smile is an exquisitely directed and beautifully filmed movie about a rich spoiled Malibu teenagers life (which she thinks is pretty darned hard) juxtaposed against the life of a poor Chinese girl with a cleft palate (a life that she has pretty much accepted). Their lives intertwine when a high school teacher exposes an organization called "Doctor's Gift" to the Malibu girl (Katie). The story is based on real life experiences and is a motivational, moving tale. The pictures of China are wonderful. The values in the movie are conservative and a great talking point for families. I highly recommend the movie for anyone. I loved it.
