The action scenes were great - fast paced, innovative, and didn't rely solely on gunfire. However, everything in between was too serious and heavy. What happened to the gadgets, lighthearted tongue-in-cheek quips, and why didn't Bond get the girl? Disappointing for the genre. Hopefully, this is a transition movie and the next one will give long time fans more of the original feeling that we fell in love with.
