If you want to see a movie about an aging secret agent and his grandmother this is the movie for you.
How dare they screw with the Bond Brand. Where were the gadgets? Women? An improbable train scene with a backhoe as part of an opening chase scene was about it for the action.
I thought the plot and story line were pretty linear. No femme fatal.
Further there were long boring stretches in the movie. Bottom line - I was not entertained!
Heading back to his childhood home for the finale was puzzling, bringing knives to a gun fight (actually helicopter) silly. The church scene looked so staged ...If Casino Royale was the high for the Daniel Craig version of Bond, Skyfall will be the low.
