Skyfall(2012)- User Reviews

First off I've worked in Hollywood and Independently in movies and writing for over 30+ years. I realize that not everyone is going to like, love or even hate everything that is made and put out there. But people today have been given so much crap that it seems there mind can't tell when a good/excellently made movie has been done! Not everything is all action or all comedy!!!! There has to be a character arc! There has to be highs and lows that makes the characters journey have meaning! The first 3 Bond movies with Daniel Craig have been made to show how this Character has arced!!! This isn't the Pierce Brosnan Bond!!! Just becoming Bond and taking it over from Timothy Dalton with no back story and carried on just the name! Yeah it was fun but there was no emotional connection for you and the character of Bond to connect with! He was just James Bond Which is ok but in the end kind of boring!!! Now after watching these last three movies you know where he is from, why he has is attitude towards women and what makes him the ultimate secret agent going forward! You didn't even have this with any other Bond in the past. other then Sean Connery with the one George Lazenby movie to give you some back ground. This movie gives you the depth and the final emotional acre of how this character becomes Bond! It is simple but tragic. Profound but not over the top! Even the villian is simple he just wants revenge over MI6!!! He doesn't want to take over the world He just wants what was done to him acknowledged! Simple! Not over thought or overdone. The action is amazing again it is simple but elegant! The story movies like a symphony from its high points to again its lows. You care about the character and the people around him. It is not just mindless action and contrived dialogue. That the last bond films with Brosnan were! I think nowadays people want to hate on anything and everything just to do so! They don't think or study on how something is done and made they just want fast food that makes them fat but even when fattened up they still feel unfulfilled but yet they don't have the mental comprehension to know why!!!!!!!
