Skyfall(2012)- User Reviews

Make no mistake, like all Sam Mendes films, this one is a very well crafted with great production values and certainly isn't the worst Bond film by far. My husband, a Bond film and book fanatic, absolutely loved everything about it; the Bond background info, suspense, characters, and even the pacing. For me, the chases, which were not too computerized, a real plus, and the characters were interesting. Unfortunately the film lacked any real suspense. It had a little of the the Dark Knight feel to it, probing under the skin of Bond, thank God not literally. The plot was good but not good enough to justify 2 1/2 hours. At 2 hours I would have given it a higher rating.
