I entered into this showing expecting entertainment for the both of us. Its James Bond after all right? I ended up leaving with an unconscious date and bored out of my mind. The first impressions I received before the plot thickens are "This movie is completely English by nature...no wait the dialogue is much to short for an average Englishman, it has to be for Americans" to "where exactly is this movie supposed to be going?" I definitely saw some misdirection with this film and a regurgitated plot involving technology, terrorism, and a squeeze of nostalgia. I am still confused as to whom exactly this film was catered toward. It seems to satisfy a broad spectrum audience for both here in the good ol' USA and the UK. Though, I suspect the Brits hardly embraced this latest installment. Are the elements there? Yes, well sort of...okay well it is but not as "James Bond-worthy" as you would expect from the previous releases. I award 3-Stars for the effort.
