I saw this movie lastnight and what I can say about it is it dragged alot in the beginning. I do like slow movies only when it's done right. There wasn't anything gory aside from the intense murder scenes that were being shown on over a projector screen. The concept was nice and some of the jumpy parts were startling. I enjoyed the storyline/plot except it's to far fetched to be a realistic matter in life. Here he was trying to find a serial killer when it was really a made up ghost or demon that eats children. It really could have been better with some gore. The ending of the movie couldn't have been any better. No happy ending. Very dark. I don't know why they keep censoring us. it's not fair that all the 80's movies were so full of gore and intense fictional scenes. It's like everything is made for babies in the millinium. In the 90's our movies were still uncensored. I remember watching Pet Semetary 2 In the theaters and it had good gore and some nudity and it was meant to be rated R. STOP CENSORING OUR MOVIES IN THEATERS. Now I didn't like insidious and I HATE Paranormal activity series. saw the first one. Was so bored in the theaters. So of course with a director who did both movies your going to get the same results. BORING!!!. But sinister was ok. Why call the movie sinister though? I don't know. Just like M. Night Shylaman movies. They are all the F'in same. I don't know. Go see it for yourself. Who cares what I say. GO SEE THE F'IN MOVIE. GO!!!
