As a lifelong fan of the horror genre its sad that now it seems to be about the Halloween hustle. We get a rush of horror movies in October and after the 2nd or 3rd weekend they've made at least 10,000 times what that spent making it(paranormal activity 1 prod cost $15,000) because they don't care about trying to be the next Stephen King its just business as we brace for Paranormal 4. Surprised there's not another Saw lol although have you noticed the Sinister character looks an awful lot like the Saw puppet huh? Lol This movie certainly had some moments early on but the last 45mins I laughed out loud at how stupid the lead characters typical responses are. Only thing missing was a tree branch for him to trip over running in the woods lol. To me the scariest movie scenario is when you see the central character intelligently trying everything they can and it still doesn't work. Ultimate fear is found in the lack of hope. And after 2hrs its sad you will still not have a true understanding of the story line and how it all really began and relates from thousands of years ago to 2012 so the ending as usual had me thinking "Really". Paid $1 at redbox for Sweet Molly and it was just as creepy.
