Silverado(1985)- User Reviews

It's a safe assumption that Silverado has been seen before, that said thanks to good acting and an interesting storyline the movie holds up. Paden, Jake, Emmett, and Malachi are 4 drifters that all meet up on the way to Silverado. Once they reach there, the town they used to know is plagued by a corrupt sheriff and now it's may be time to bring some justice back. Yes, the movie has just about every western cliche in the book, however it acknowledges this and makes it all for the better. The film does run on a bit too long (and believes that violence is the only way to keep the audience's interest) but altogether it's a worthwhile watch. It's not perfect, but Silverado is a worthy homage.
