Silver Linings Playbook(2012)- User Reviews

I'm sure this movie has its qualities, but I just can't sit through the typical 2-hour romance/drama/dramedy anymore. Entertainment has changed too much for me to waste time on slowly developing plots or feet-dragging stories. This film is simply typical, not bad. In 50 years when only snobs go to the cinema, this will be the type of movie they watch. It's similar to Life Of Pi in the way that after hearing fantastic reviews about the film, you turn it on and find yourself staring at the wall or daydreaming instead of caring about the movie. If you like to sit silently on the couch and read books while sipping red wine, this movie is for you. If you tend to move a bit faster than that and be a bit more demanding, watch Zero Dark Thirty.
