Too close to everyday life, but with a tacky romance on top

Just not my kind of movie. I like movies that take me away from everyday life. But, yet, it had a cheesy storybook romance thrown in, so it was kind of the worst of both words. Too real, and too phony. I found the plot obvious and predictable. I give it 3 stars instead of one because the acting was really good, they just didn't have much to work with story wise. Don't get what all the hype is about.
