This was a refreshingly good movie. I am sure people could relate to this movie on a number of levels. Bradley Cooper who is smart but suffers from Bi-Polar dissorder. Struggles with a number of things that trigger anxiety.
Inspite all of his shortcomings he is very positive, looking for silver linings in his life. Desperately wanting his wife back.
His parents are very supportive, tolerant, and loving. Making it heart felt from that level alone. Deniro and Cooper were wonderful together. Deniro played a loving father that had superstitions and hang-ups of his own.
The silver lining in their relationship was the Philadelphia Eagles. Cooper meets Jennifer Lawrence through a good friend and an odd circumstance.
There is an immediate attraction, but Cooper stays strong. He is commited to getting his wife back, and righting his wrongs. Lawrence who is a indifferent but cute herself, finds Cooper's disposition appealing.
The fact that Lawrence does not give up on Cooper is what helps develop such a cute storyline.
Cooper's relationship with his family and friend's all come together beautifully. Making it heart felt.
There is some laugh out loud humor. Hillarious awkwardness! Situations in the movie that you cannot help but feel for Cooper, cause you are pulling for him.
Deniro and Cooper alone I would give five stars. These two have developed a good rapport. Had a quite different relationship in "Limitless".
