If you miss this you've missed a lot

I really loved this movie. It's all about mental illness and how a man struggles through it to fall in love, who is also struggling with mental illness. There are a lot of laughs throughout, but the most important thing about this movie is how deeply the dialogue is layered. Sometimes it's so thick I have to think for a second about what's going on. I don't think everyone has that problem. It didn't take any of the enjoyment out of the movie for me.
Pat is trying to get back with his ex-wife, who put a restraining order on him. Tiffany is looking for love and the only way she has found to engage Pat is to offer him a chance to have communication with his ex-wife, but there's a catch: he must be her dance partner at a competition. Meanwhile, Pat's father, a bookmaker, makes a bet involving the competition. It ups the stakes in this movie. A romance develops in an accidental way between Pat and Tiffany, but they both have trouble with it.
Anyway, all the characters are interesting, including Pat's friend Danny, his therapist, and others who all come together at the end.
Jennifer Lawrence has a lot of great moments in this movie. I saw this movie twice at the theater, and the only other time I've done that has been this year, with Moonrise Kingdom. I appreciate good movies.
