After working quite successfully as a tutor in a small family based company, I lost my job due to inappropriate interactions with my employer and a co-worker. I told my employers about my bi-polar diagnosis and asked for their patience as I worked on adjusting my medication. My employers then sent me an email expressing concern for my mental health, suggesting that I take a break. In the very same message, they informed me that they had packed up my things (to "keep them safe") and assured me that they would support me in my future endeavors. After I asked to return to work, I was told that, due to low enrollment, they had to let me go. ... and so I've been going to the movies.
I greatly appreciated the joyous resolution of this film, but I am certain that others, like myself, with bi-polar disorder may be moved to tears-- knowing so well those dark, dark caves-- the labyrinths and the release.
