Silver Linings Playbook(2012)- User Reviews

I considered leaving several times when I realized people in the theater were laughing at characters in a fragile mental state. This is no comedy. Anyone who has had a man fixate on them, in other words STALK- feels the incredible fear and helplessness as you watch this character do everything we see mentally ill people do: deny medication, delusions of normalcy, terrorize friends and family. And people laughed? This is funny to them? Is it they feel trapped in a life of increasing pressure that makes them wish to act out like this?

And you wonder where the ideas of mass violence comes from?!
