My husband found Silent House quite boring. I found it somewhat suspenseful. I must admit my heart was pounding in anticipation, but nothing really happens until almost the end. By then I already figured out for the most part what had happened and wasn't really surprised. There could have been some real scares, but no just suspense. There were a few blackout moments that were totally unnecessary and a waste of money. We didn't come to see black screen. The ending wasn't very good either. I think it was filmed mainly to show off Olson's bust. Her acting was ok. But, most expressions were the same throughout the film. Yes, I was scared for her, but by the end I wondered why?
