Yahoo users have done this film justice at 3 stars.
Anecdotes without spoiling:
Loser 1 steals from his own lonely mom and ditches her on her birthday. Loser 2 is a selfish hedonist cheating on his finance days before the wedding.
Loser 1 is still in love with his ex-who he lost by being an alcoholic loser.
Its not done in an over the top "Hangover" style, Sideways is a little too real to let you feel that its a parody or caricature of life.
The "critical" acclimation for this film is misguided Hollywood overly deep eccentrics.
