Showtime was a movie packet with action, an over looked romance, and mediocre acting. The story line was decent with a few flaws. The movie could of been better but overall I give it 2 thumbs up. It definitely was one of Eddie Murphys better movies. I think that the plot connects with teens and adults in todays world. Especially with all the reality TV on now. This coincides with that perfectly. And the whole concept has never been done. This movie had me entertained from beginning to finish. It draws you in especially when you arent expecting anything great. If you watch this movie thinking it will be one of the best ever then you will be greatly disappointed. It was decent, but entertaining. Enhoy!!!
