Shining Through(1992)- User Reviews

Somehow watching the movie a decade after it was made and released added some charm to it , probably because of the "summer blockbusters" being unleashed incessantly , not to forget the sequels and potential franchise movies , one misses the old cinema magic reminiscent of 'Casablanca' etc . and that magic was recreated right in my tv room today as on 8/22/2003 .
As I cannot recollect anything about such a movie from '92 I just hope it was suitably appreciated 'cause we need to encourage this sort of cinema.
Linda Voss was an interesting character to portray on the screen , very difficult too to do proper justice to , which thankfully, was done and full marks to the actor in Melanie Griffeth , Michael Douglas as usual charms himself to the viewer and slips into the character suitably.
The director definitely put in a decent effort.
However , liking this movie solely depends on the taste of the viewer ..if you liked "Casablanca" ..it is most likely you'll like this one too.
