Downey's Holmes appears to be a cross between a 19th century Jason Bourne and Captain Jack Sparrow. Only difference, by combining both personality types, neither worked.

I suppose it was okay if you like being baffled with #$%$ for two hours. Why not just make this a 'Jackie Chan conquers London' movie? I'm glad I waited to see it on CD, it saved me $25.

Time waster - I was ready to walk out of the theater 1/3 into the movie to stop the bleeding. Numerous fast camera shots that were frequently used and difficult to follow - overused! first thing that pop in my mind after saw this film is: Sherlock Holmes or Jackie jan?!

keeps you awake for the 2 hours, magnificent screenplay, clever plot.....must get something at the oscars.....
robert downey jr is the perfect choice with his incredible acting talents ( he might well fill up as the joker in batman)......
