Shanghai Kiss- User Reviews

I normally don't write reviews, or am even compelled to write one, but after seeing Shanghai Kiss, I was moved to make my thoughts known. First off, the film is definitely not without shortcomings. But, miniscule issues aside, I was very much blown away by the touching emotions of the characters and the essence of the human spirit generated from such a small budget romantic comedy with relatively low expectations. It delivers big time! I am in love with the movie, with its artistry, with its simplicity, with the dynamic and well portrayed and defined characters and ultimately, with the interracial relationship at the center of the movie. It was so real I could feel the emotions, the angst, the heartbreak, the true love and the most touching line at the end of the movie of all movies delivered by Hayden Panetierre's character. A+ effort all around.
