My nomination for the above. I admit presenting Shakespeare as a dolt got me off to a bad start. I could find nothing compelling about the storyline, nothing remotely realistic or admirable about one single character, nothing truly inventive about the entire script. That it won the Oscar demonstrates the shallow vision Hollywood has of film and the presentation of life.
