Making a movie about Shakespeares life and how he was inspired is a good idea, but this movie went wrong. In my opinion it's okay to add a storyline into history (like in Amadeus), but it's not okay to change a person's life entirely and say that it could of happened. The sreenwriters for the movie changed Shakespeare's life so that he was having an affair while he wrote Romeo and Juliet. That's an insult to Shakespeare considering that he had a sad life.
This movie is called a romantic comedy, but it isn't funny and romantic story in this is poor. The acting is just okay, Gynyth Paltrow (I may not have spelled that right) was supposed to be great, but she's just okay.
This didn't deserve best picture. Saving Private Ryan did.
