A very good drama/adventure
When "Shadow of the Wolf" first aired on television, I was ten years old. Up to quite recently, I can only remember fragments of this magnificent film, and was surprised to see an actual DVD release of it. After viewing the whole 112 mins of it, I can say without a doubt that even though this film was made for television, I will still treasure it. Both Jennifer Tilly (Igiyook), Lou Diamond Phillips (Agaguk), and Toshiro Mifune (Kroomak) did an awesome job in their roles and the portrayals of Inuit people. And, as the viewer you get to witness how difficult it is to survive in such a hostile environment and how love for one another can persevere.
This is a film that should be watched and enjoyed without prejudice of films made for television. For what it was worth, I enjoyed it and recommend that you give this film a chance.
