Hitchcock does middle America

star55

It shouldn't be surprising that Hitchcock got Small town America this down pat, but when you take into account he was from England it's pretty impressive. Made as a love letter to his recently deceased Mother ( the mother in this movie is the only completely selfless character. The play between the young girl Charlie and the Uncle she was named after is what makes this movie. Excellent in every way it's one of Hitchcocks best movies.
