Kate is one of my absolutely favorite actresses but before I knew anything about her I found her style in this movie so magical and alluring. She put John in the position of having to be the hound dog like 'you find me if you're for real'.
If you are a hopeless romantic like me (but a pessimistic pragmatist born of real life) you're amazed at the amazing circumstances that seem maddeningly to bring them so close and still not bring them to consummation and happily ever after.
Any movie that cannot make you care about the participants is hopelessly lost from its beginning but this one fulfills the number one ingredient in spades till you hunger with hope that they do (please) find each other.
I'm thinking now that this could happen to me. Yeah. It just could.
