Scream(1996)- User Reviews

Wes Craven created another cult movie which eventually turned into a saga (Nightmare on elm street, ring a bell anyone?). Well, at least Wes Craven successfully created a unique slasher film with a less serious side and a very good plot, one of the best I've seen. It has some good cheap scares, effective humor and good psycho acting. It is very good but they didn't prioritize the "stab effects" even though it doesn't matter at all. It shows a few blood and guts yet it didn't made the film disgusting. Wes Craven is successful to scare audiences without doing the bloody disturbing scenes like the one that the "SAW" franchises do. Also, I was amazed by the clever plot and twists this movie offers. Having a R rating, I strongly suggest this movie to all mature audiences especially teens. I suggest you watch this movie alone while you're thinking 'bout GHOSTFACE!!!
