There were some unanswered questions from start to finish. However, the relationship of the central characters was complex and well acted. What seemed to be a standard situation, evolved into a twist and unexpected turn. The movie has stayed with me as it was thought provoking. I kept thinking, how did "Stephanie" overcome her tragedy and become strong? Although at first glance, "Ali" seemed like a big dumb hick, his simplistic view of the world helped the he and the heroine grow. I highly recommend this film. It was riveting without being too overly sentimental.
