When this came out, it won best picture at the Academy awards. Best Picture was written all ovwer it. A great movie but all the sequels that followed werent as good as this. It’s almost too hard to pick my favorite Sylvester Stallone movie but I would have to say that ( ROCKY ) has had the biggest positive influence in my life.

This original is The Champ! A well deserved oscar winner for Best Picture of 1976, Sly STallone became a major movie star in a story he wrote, about a boxer from Philly who becomes a boxing champion! Solid acting, direction, and storytelling. A+more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful
