This movie was stunning. It was visually gorgeous; there are so many tiny details that make it special. The floral quality of the frost, and the particle effects for the dreams and nightmares, and the sheen on Tooth's feathers, and the characters' expressions, which, more than in any other CG movie I've seen before, actually let me know what they were feeling.
It brought me back to a time when I was a little girl leaving letters for the Sandman, because I was so, SO sure he was real. It reminded me of what it was like to be a kid. Speaking of which - it was refreshing to see a kid in a kid's movie that actually TALKS like a child.
To sum up: this movie is beautiful and touching. I've been to see it more than once, and I'm so disappointed it's doing badly in theatres. I would really, really like to see a sequel.
