I just watched this film on Monday night with my sister and she isn't a big Martial Arts fan like myself. She enjoyed the movie because of the message.
What I loved about this film was the spritual aspect of Martial Arts that it focused on. It was a commentary on today's society and how you have to conform. I respect Mike Terry for not giving in to that mindset.
The message of this film is to always be true to yourself and not sell your soul for a quick dollar. Even people who don't like Martial Arts film will enjoy the movie.
