Red Dragon(2002)- User Reviews

Unfortunately it run up against the stellar performances and movie Silence of the Lambs and the other version of this story done under the title Manhunter. I think we all would have seen it a bit differently if it had run in the order of the novels. Very good movie, though. It did over do the Hannibal part for Hollywood's sake. I still wonder if the scene in Hannibal where he eats the agents brain was a litterary joke regarding Thomas Harris's brains being eaten by the Hollywood establishment. He's a great author but got sucked into the Hollywood machine. But then, I'd probably go for the millions, too.
