Red Dawn(2012)- User Reviews

First off the movie was ENTERTAINING...which is why people go to movies. WHY do I get the feeling this movie was delayed because exposing the U.S. as vulnerable, EVEN in a movie BEFORE an election was the REAL REASON it wasn't released in the late summer/fall as it was originally intended. I am not buying the North Korean emblem editing excuse...as the Chinese film market won't much differentiate between themselves and their ALLY. Critics have labeled this everything from a Reaganist fantasy to a Tea Party wet dream. They CLEARLY ware their leftist yellow feelings on their sleeve. THAT SAID, I like the original better,but this version was worth watching. WHO KNOWS? Maybe this one will launch/validate new stars like the original did for CHARLIE SHEEN,PATRICK SWAYZE,LEA THOMPSON,JENNIFER GREY,C.THOMAS HOWELL....ETC.
