Very entertaining; I saw the original in the theater way back when. Watched it again on DVD recently knowing I was going to the remake. It had most of the memorable moments from the original with a new twist. Was it an in-depth examination of the human condition? No, but it was an action packed movie I very much enjoyed. Interesting how the speeches from the communist occupiers explaining what was wrong with America sounded exactly like recent Obama campaign rallies.
