Better then a lot of movies on the subject!
It shows that even if North Korea invades the U.S.; the citizens are the true defenders of the country; not the soldiers, law enforcement and politicians.

Some of the acting is bad and it moves along too quickly. The charactors arent developed enough before the shooting starts. They should have made the enemy China or Maybe a country with help from Mexico. I could not buy North Korea as the invader. It …more»0 of 1 people found this review helpful-

Absolutely uninspiring - I felt I was watching Nickelodeon on steroids. I just couldn't take those kid actors / comedians seriously in a movie that supposed to be very serious.

I am a fan of the original Red Dawn and when I heard it was going to be remade for today's generation, it made me nauseous. There is so many other problems other than the fact this is a remake. The original idea was ridiculous (Soviet Army taking over America), this one no better.
