this is a classic Hitchcock film that's one of the best movies ever made!!! this is what makes James Stewart famous in films!!! it's 2007 remake,"Disturbia",is what made Shia Labeouf famous in films!!! i love these two great films,but i didn't care for the 1997 rear window with Christopher Reeve.that one there completely lost the feel of the orginal.but in the spring of 2007,that's when "Disturbia" came along!!! it made up for the disappointing 90's one.in that one,you have Shia Labeouf,the binoculers,and it's teen-styled!!! but this rear window is what really inspired "Disturbia".in this review,i say see this rear window,and skip the 90's one and see "Disturbia"!!!!
