Ratatouille is not just a movie, its an inspiration. That's one thing I could say. I watched this many a time, most recently several days ago (well, only the second half).
Ratatouille centers around Remy, a rat who has a passion for cooking. This is really interesting, considering the fact that rats are the enemy of chefs (I didn't actually consider this until chancing upon such). Remy eventually ends up partially controlling his new owner's movements, who is a chef at Remy's favourite restaurant - Gusteau's. Along the way, Remy would encounter different situations and eventually ends up on the line between destiny and dream-to-be.
The animation is excellent, although the visuals could be better. Direction of the film was good, and there was some very interesting romance between the new owner whose name I forgot and another female chef in the kitchen, who rides a motorbike. Talk about fancy France.
All in all, this movie is a must-watch, not just for families, but anyone who is looking for some inspiration. A!
