An elfin nine yr old girl,Ramona is full of energy and an imagination to match.Her parents and teacher think she is immature and needs to focus because she gets into trouble all the time. Beezuz, the older sister and aunt Bea try to help Ramona cope with school,her teacher and classmates and try to keep her in check. But when the family faces financial troubles,Ramona again tries to help in her own way,only causing more trouble. Eventually all is settled for the good and the family keeps their home and dosen't need to relocate.
